Es geht um den zweiten Satz auf dem folgenden Bild.

Ich muss diese Sätze selbständig übersetzen.

Der Google Übersetzer gibt mir die gleiche Übersetzung. (Ausleihen)

Borrow verwendet man doch wenn man etwas ausleiht von jemanden und es nach einiger Zeit zurückgeben wird.

Lend verwendet man einem anderen etwas ausleiht, das er dann nach einiger Zeit wieder zurückgeben wird.

Wenn das so stimmt, dann hab ich folgende Frage:

Macht dann der Satz mit beiden Wörtern Sinn?

Tomorrow we are going to enjoy a London breakfast which includes duck and waffle, I would kill for these meals.

Should teenagers be exposed to pets at their age?

Having a pet at a early age helps teenagers learn about responsibility and taking care of others. At the same time, it can help them learn to take care of themselves. Some teenagers though, should never have pets of their own if they can’t control themselves and have difficulty with empathy. Therefore: Should teenagers be exposed to pets at their age?

Teenagers mature at different rates. Some can handle the responsibility of caring for a pet already and others not. That’s why the age is for the parent to decide. If teenagers are animal-friendly, then cats make excellent pets. They can be playful and entertaining, especially if people adopt a kitten. They are also relatively easy to take care for: good quality food, clean water, a clean litter box, toys and interaction with their owners for affection.

As mentioned, owning a pet helps in the development of a teenager for example learning to take responsibility for another life and experience what it means if someone depends on them. A pet also helps teenagers learning to give attention even if they are not in the mood for it.

Despite of that, how can teenagers even cover the costs of keeping a pet? Well, pets are expensive but if teenagers have a pet, they can buy cheap food or cheap toys, if they want to cover their costs. Teenagers can also spend their pocket money more for their pet or can earn some money in holidays.

To conclude, I would say teenagers should keep a pet, if they are ready to take care of it. If they care for their pet, they return the love. A pet doesn't question what kind of job the kid’s parents have or how much money they make, etc. They would love their owners if they show affection to it.

Ich gehe auf ein niedersächsischen Gymnasium, in die 9. Klasse und ich spreche Deutsch, als Muttersprache und habe in der Schule noch Spanisch und Englisch und natürlich auch Deutschunterricht.

Leider haben ich Probleme in jeder der drei Sprachen. Nicht, dass ich sie nicht sprechen könnte oder so.
Ich habe in Spanisch und Englisch Probleme mit der Rechtschreibung und dem Satzbau, sowie mit Vokabeln. Laut meinen Lehrern habe ich einen zu geringen Wortschatz.

In Deutsch geht es eigentlich nur darum, dass ich wenn wir üben immer sehr gut bin, aber es in den Arbeiten dann nicht hinbekomme vernünftige Texte zu schreiben.

Könntet ihr mir helfen und mir ein paar Tipps geben? Ich würde auch mit Lernhilfen arbeiten, wenn ich von welchen wisst, die sehr gut für meine Probleme geeignet sind.

What is noticeable at the first glance is that the artist presents a serious topic in a simple and ironic way.The scene depicts an abstract situation in a third world country in comparison to an industrialising country. On the right, there is appearing a western women which is underlined by the clothes she is wearing. Moreover, you can easily notice a poisonous river in the left part of the picture. Another significant aspect is the center of the picture which shows us a large billboard with a caption above it which reads "THIS COULD BE U". Behind the billboard, there is sitting a women working on a sewinh machine. Her facial expression seems to be exhausted and tired. Especially striking are the bright colours that the artist used.The artist creates a negative atmosphere towards the aspect that we are not aware of where and under which conditions our fashion is produced This will be shown in detail in the following talk. The artist refers to a well known global issue such as fast fashion. Furthermore, he strongly criticises our lack of awareness about fast fashion.First of all, you can clearly notice that the artist tries to draw the audiences attention to the fact that the scene depicts the horrendous and miserable working conditions of people who produce fashion by representing the womens facial expression. From her facial expression you can conclude how exhausted and frustrated she must be. That is exactly how the cartoon is supposed to make us overthink our attitude towards fast fashion. Moreover, the artist makes use of bright colours. Ultimately, common sense indicates that the colours are used to make the cartoon more vivid which clarifies the Intent of the cartoon which is to raise the People`s awareness for fast fashion. A further significant aspect is that the artist attempts to win us over to his side by triggering our emotions. This becomes more apparent while looking closely at the water colours from river which shows us how many chemicals are inside the water. That is why we become compassionate with the local citizens.

In conclusion I can express that the artists conveys his intention impeccably and extremely effectively from my point of view. Without any doubt the artist exactly knows how to trigger the audiences emotions properly. I also assume that he wants us to see fast fashion as horrible and horrendous. Moreover, he absolutely convinces me by his impeccably used visual elements which make sure we cannot misunderstand his concisely communicated message. Additionally I believe that his criticism is justified due to the fact that we are accountable as customers for the future of employees in the fashion industry. So it`s our mandatory duty to rearrange our attitude toward fast fashion.

Nonetheless I assume the text-based communication is not an appropriate way to maintain a proper communication at all. Shown by many recent studies communication inevitably lead to a lack of creativity. Furthermore I want to emphasise that our eyes also suffer from all the screens in our daily life. On top of that I assert that those harsh consequences are palpable for almost everyone. Another significant aspect which has to be mentioned and is the effect that is especially young people experience procrastination while spending time on their phone. The main reason for this phenomenon the social media has addictive characteristics. Social media help you to spend more and more time there which becomes more visible if you have a look on a teenager screen time. As far as I can see those platforms pray for pension from young people to get funded. Moreover I`m searching that social media leads to an happiness because of the fact that humans always compare their life to other people. Additionally mostly young people are not capable to realise that almost nothing in the internet is genuine or authentic. As a result of this many teenagers are doubting themelfes which probably leads to cruel and grave mental health issues. In conclusion I can express that I remain unconvinced and truly believe that social media is the potential risks for underage person. Therefore we need an impeccable education to direct children through the Cyberspace. Education is crucial for the future because of the indispensability of social media nowadays. Michael Goulding video is that social media has many benefits however the drawbacks outweigh them. So I plead or I control the use of social media to avoid they downsides of social media.Danke

Aber warum ist es bei diesen beiden Beispiel Sätzen anders?

„Du isst Brot“ - You eat Bread

„Der Mann isst Brot“ - The man eats bread

Den zweiten Satz verstehe ich da isst - eats heißt, aber warum schreibt man den ersten Satz eat, dass müsste doch auch eat(s) heißen?

Und habt ihr Tipps, wie man schneller, besser und erfolgreicher englisch lernt?

Ich mein von wo soll man wissen in welche Reihenfolge das kommt so es könnte ja auch heißen (Beispiel beim ersten Satz) in the age of Science we live. Von wo weiß man wie das geordnet werden muss verstehe das nicht hä?

Wir schreiben nächste Woche eine Klausur und wir haben noch nie eine Filmanalyse in der gesamten Schullaufbahn gemacht.

Present Perfect wird ja verwendet, wenn etwas in der Vergangenheit geschehen ist und bis zur Gegenwart andauert, oder? Doch ich verstehe das nicht ganz.

Beispielssatz:

The Hairdresser has cut Sarahs hair

Doch das fängt ja in der Vergangenheit hat, doch endet auch in der Vergangenheit.

wenn etwas in der Vergangenheit bis zur Gegenwart andauert, dann würde es ja heißen

the hairdresser is cutting sarahs hair for 10minutes (ausgedacht)

irgendwie verstehe ich es nicht. Wann ich es benutzen soll. Wie ich es benutzten soll.
Vielleicht kann mir jemand es grob erklären, wäre sehr nett.

Ich kenne eine Amerikanerin die in der Schule in Englisch durchfallen soll weil sie angeblich kein Englisch spricht sondern Amerikanisch. Kann die Lehrerin sie durchfallen lassen? ich habe letztens als Aufgabe dieses Arbeitsblatt bekommen und mir stellt sich die Frage, was genau ich zu tun habe, da ich keine Ahnung habe was dieser "Make a difference day" ist.

The monarchy system is a hot topic in the UK, is it useful for the country or is it just for the show. Opinions often differ here, because there are many arguments pro and against this system. But what is the right answer.

On the one hand the Royal Family which is given by this system personifies the state and British nation, which represent it more human. Due to this more human presentive the people will be more connected to the government because many of the civilians got a member of the Royal Family as an idol which is also fine in view of the fact they exemplify British values like good manners, good style and honesty. Furthermore, by keeping this system, we also keep a part of history alive owing to the fact that the monarchy is no longer a widely used system.

On the other hand, there are many arguments against a monarchy system: It’s a life long burden for anyone who gets born into this, which is also against the spirit of democracy because their role is not earned but inherited. Additionally, they don’t have any power and are mainly there for the public eye, but this gets worse by the fact that if a member of the Royal Family does something wrong, the whole state will be ashamed and it will damage the national image of Britain. On top of that, you know the big palaces, the expensive cars and their wealth? This comes partly from slavery, oppression and discrimination.

All in all, you can say that the monarchy system has many reasons to be abolished but also many benefits. From my perspective it should be abolished, because it’s simply a show and doesn’t do anything for the country in a financial or lucrative way, furthermore we know that other countries like Germany has also a working system which doesn’t waste money for an unqualified family.

Ich habe im Englischunterricht die Aufgabe bekommen, mich in die Perspektive einer Person reinzudenken und einen Tagebucheintrag zu schreiben. Das ist nicht das Problem...

Mein Problem ist eher jenes, das die Geschichte, in welche die Person ist, über Rassimus handelt. Die Geschichte heißt 'Trapped' von Shelby Raebeck. Ich soll mir eine der beiden (Ricky oder Lance) Perspektiven aussuchen.

Ich kann nichts aus Ricky's Perspektive schreiben, weil ich einfach keine Ideen habe. Aus Lance's Perspektive kann ich was schreiben. Jedoch habe ich keine erfahrungen mit Rassismus am eigenen leib, weswegen ich Angst habe das es vielleicht nicht so gut ankommt oder ich jemanden damit verletze, wenn ich als "weiße" Person aus der Sicht einer "schwarzen" Person schreibe.

Deswegen hier meine Frage: Darf ich als "weiße" Person, aus der Sicht einer "schwarzen" Person über Rassismus schreiben, wenn ich es selber nie erfahren habe? oder sollte ich das lieber lassen?

Ich möchte echt niemanden auf irgendeine Art und Weise verletzen.

Hallo, wir hatten heute Englisch in der Schule und die Lehrerin hat drei Schüler Vokabeln mündlich abgefragt. Zwei der drei Schüler konnten die Vokabeln nicht und haben auch zugegeben, dass die diese nicht gelernt hatten. Nun meinte sie, dass sieim Laufe der nächsten Woche einen Vokabeltest schreiben wird, welcher Tag genau ist unbekannt, sie sagte wir sollen uns "überraschen lassen".

Ist das in Ordnung, oder könnte man das schon zu einer unerlaubten Kollektivstrafe zuordnen? Ich meine, sie hat ja nur 3 Schüler abgefragt, und in der Klasse(8.Klasse) sind wir 28. Bitte eine umfassende Begründung, will das meiner Lehrerin dann mal sagen, wenn es unerlaubt war ;D. Danke im Voraus und Liebe Grüße

Was ist richtig has oder have? Vom Gefühl her klingt, auf jeden Fall, "has" richtig.

Wenn "has" richtig ist, dann warum? Es handelt sich doch hier nicht um he/she/it, denn die Person ist doch Sie (3.Person Plural), oder?
